Job summary

Incredible Health in Shenandoah, TX is actively hiring RN - Critical Care. The role requires ADN or higher in nursing, an active RN license, and ICU experience. ACLS is preferred.

• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Ability to function effectively under stress.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patient conditions, including vital signs, and intervene with appropriate care.
• Monitor and provide care to critically ill, unstable or life-threatening patients.
• Manage life-support systems such as ventilation and heart-monitoring.
• Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about conditions and care plans.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care , Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention.
