Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking RN - Critical Care in Delray Beach, FL. The role involves caring for critically ill patients in ICU settings with emphasis on rapid assessment and life-support management.

Candidates should have ADN or higher, an active RN license, and preferably ACLS. Expect shifts day or night, with full-time, part-time, or per diem options and benefits including medical and 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess patient conditions and intervene with appropriate care.
• Monitor critically ill patients and manage life-threatening situations.

• Participate in rapid response and emergency scenarios.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop care plans.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Arrhythmia management, Bariatric, CODE, COVID, CRRT training, CVICU, Care of burn patients, Chest tube, ECMO, External pacemaker, High acuity, Intra aortic balloon pump, MICU, Neuro ICU, Post MI thermo care , Post cardiac surgery care, Post neuro surgery, RRT, SICU, TPA admin, Transplant, or Vascular intervention.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1+ years of experience in a critical care unit (ICU) preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to function effectively under stress
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skill
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Rapidly assess a patient conditions, including vital signs and other physiological parameters, and intervene with the appropriate care
• Monitor and provide care to patients with critically ill, unstable, and/or life-threatening conditions
• Manage various life-support systems like ventilation and heart-monitoring
• Participate in rapid response and other emergency situations
• Administer medications and other treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and their families about the patient's condition and care plan
