Qualifications

• ACLS and BCLS certifications required within 90 days of employment.
• Associate Degree required; RN or APRN licensure to be obtained within 90 days.
• Demonstrated ability to work in interdisciplinary teams and provide patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education surrounding peri-operative process.
• Prepare patients including IV therapy and preoperative meds.
• Assist in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
