Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Smithfield, North Carolina location. The role offers local pay at $53.00/hour (W2) with a day shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestricted NC license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1+ year of recent experience as a RN within the last 3 years.
• Copy of current PSV from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and medical emergencies.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and other clinical procedures within scope of practice.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, infection control standards, and facility policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while promoting safety and quality outcomes.
