Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse in Troy, North Carolina, to provide care in a correctional setting. The role offers 12-hour day shifts with W2 compensation at local pay of $53.00 per hour.

You will assess patients, administer medications, document EMR entries, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate care and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Current, valid NC RN license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year RN experience within the last 3 years.
• Primary Source Verification (PSV) from licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copies of current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunizations, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patient progress and document assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies.
