Job summary

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Brentwood, TN to join a correctional healthcare team. The role covers triage, assessment, and treatment of inmates’ medical and mental health needs, with 12‑hour day and night shifts and travel pay options.

  • Serving as first responder in emergencies and crisis situations
  • Monitoring patients and performing related nursing duties (catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, etc.)

Registered Nurse (RN) – Brentwood, TN

Travel Pay: $20.04 / Hour

Travel Rate (based on 36 hours): Hrly $20.04, Stipend (Lodging $826.00 + M&I $371.00) = $1,197.00,

Total Comp :$1,918.44

Travel Eligibility: Candidates must live at least 70 miles from the facility to qualify for Travel Pay.

Shift Details
  • 12 hour Days and Nights shifts available
Registered Nurse (RN) Duties & Responsibilities
  • Triaging, assessing, and treating inmates’ chronic, acute, psychological, and medical needs during incarceration
  • Assessing and providing mental health care including patient assessments/evaluations
  • Administering medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions as directed by medical staff
  • Serving as first responder in emergencies and crisis situations
  • Performing other general nursing duties such as patient monitoring, catheter management, venipuncture, IVs, diabetic lines, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited educational institution
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State in which the position is located. The license MUST be in good standing
  • Copy of current, valid, unrestricted license as an RN.
  • Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
  • Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements).
