Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join the corporate float team, providing care across adult inpatient units. You will assess patients, develop care plans, and coordinate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

The position requires Florida RN licensure, BLS certification, and at least one year of acute care experience. Responsibilities include patient advocacy, education, and ensuring safety across multiple Orlando Health facilities.

Qualifications

• State of Florida RN license or valid eNLC multistate license.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification is required.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC may be required based on patient population.
• One year of acute care RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop an individualized plan of care.
• Evaluate patient progress toward expected outcomes.
• Delegate tasks and coordinate patient care with the healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe and caring environment for patients and families.
• Communicate patient condition and unit concerns to team members.
