Job summary

Orlando Health Melbourne Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a full-time or part-time role in adult inpatient units. The position requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, ACLS as appropriate, and at least one year of acute care nursing.

You will assess patient needs, develop and revise care plans, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams while floating across Orlando Health facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for patient population.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop a care plan.
• Revise plans based on patient progress and responses.
• Advocate for patients and families throughout care.
• Provide age-appropriate nursing care across units.
• Document care and communicate with health care team.
• Float to Orlando Health facilities as needed.
