Job summary
AdventHealth in Shawnee, KS is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse responsible for comprehensive patient assessments and collaborative care planning. You will administer medications and treatments, educate patients and families, and coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure quality outcomes.
Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred) and an RN license. Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills are required to support safe, evidence-based
Qualifications
- RN licensure required or in process
- Associate degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor’s preferred
- Experience in acute care setting is preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate progress.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
