Job summary

The US Department of Veterans Affairs seeks an RN Coordinator who will provide skilled nursing care and clinical oversight for Veterans residing in Community Nursing Homes. You will coordinate individualized care plans with Veterans, families, CNH staff, VA providers, and interdisciplinary teams.

The role supports education, advocacy, consultation, and quality improvement activities, contributing to high standards of resident care and collaborative practice within the VA system.

Qualifications

• English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English.
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency and accredited by ACEN or CCNE; OR master's level bridge program in nursing with coursework equivalent to bachelor's in Nursing; may become registered with a state licensing board before completion.
• Current, full, active, unrestricted nursing license (as applicable)
