Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Homeless Outreach Stabilization Team (HOST) in Spokane. The RN will coordinate medical aspects of care, manage medications, and educate clients across community shelters and outreach sites.

Travel between work locations is required using FBH vehicles or a personal vehicle. The ideal candidate holds an RN license in Washington, has at least one year of experience with individuals who have mental illness, and maintains BLS

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate and engage effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds, trauma experiences, cultures, and socio-economic statuses.
• Experience or training in physical and psychological assessment, evaluation and psychiatric treatment modalities.
• Working knowledge of psychotropic medications, their uses and side effects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medical aspects of care for homeless clients, including management of medications.
• Provide education to clients about treatment, medical and mental health conditions.
• Engage clients in health promotion activities and disease prevention programs.
