Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide inpatient psychiatric care on a weekend night shift (Saturday & Sunday, 7 PM–7:30 AM). The role includes medication administration, following physicians’ orders, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team across Calispel and Foothills locations.

Applicants must hold an active WA RN license and BLS; inpatient psychiatric experience is preferred.

Shift

SHIFT - Saturday & Sunday - 7PM - 7:30AM (.6FTE) -There is added shift differential. This position is split between our Calispel and Foothills location so 12 hours at each location per weekend. Exact schedule to be determined upon hire.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor patient basic care utilizing the nursing process within the RN scope of practice.
• Medication administration/safety/monitoring.
• Carry out physicians’ orders as assigned.
• Demonstrate positive leadership and goal‑oriented productivity within scope of practice.
• Carry out care plan objectives and goals.
• Assist in delivery of client education.
• Maintain standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Comply with all state WACs.
• Facilitate therapeutic communication with patients, visitors, and co‑workers.
• Complete through, timely incident reports as needed.
• Respond to a patient needs and concerns and elevate through supervisory chain as indicated.
• Complete thorough, accurate and complete reporting and documentation of patient’s symptoms, and progress.
• Effectively utilize customer service and motivational interviewing skills to promote appropriate patient centered care.
• Demonstrates flexibility in responding to change and in working with diverse groups and individuals.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• REQUIRED: Active RN license in the State of Washington.
• REQUIRED: Active BLS within 90 days of hire and must maintain active BLS.
• PREFERRED: 1-2 years' experience in Psychiatric setting.
• PREFERRED: Previous inpatient experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to communicate with individuals of various backgrounds, education levels and socio‑economic status.
• Ability to apply trauma‑informed concepts and practices related to patient care.
• Must have basic computer skills including ability to document in an electronic medical record, use electronic time tracking, use of Outlook, Word and HRIS.

Base Pay Range (Hourly/ Non‑Exempt)

$43.15- $52.58 All pay is based on longevity at Frontier Behavioral Health; thus, the starting base pay for this position is $43.15 per hour.

Added Shift Differential: Weekend Night (7PM -7:30 AM) – 33.40% #IND1
