Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health is seeking a Housing Specialist to coordinate housing plans, connect clients to housing resources, and provide hands-on support across Spokane County. You will conduct in-person visits, outreach, and navigation services to secure stable housing with a focus on client choice and access.

This role requires daily travel to meet clients and partner agencies, using FBH vehicles or a personal vehicle as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field, WA State DOH credential within 30 days of hire.
• Must have unrestricted driver's license, pass motor vehicle screening, and be willing to use personal vehicle.
• Counselor Agency Affiliated – Registered credential within WA State health department is required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Review housing needs and link clients to appropriate housing providers in the community.
• Provide in-person, telephone, and outreach services to assist with searching for longer-term housing options.
• Assist with placement into housing and follow-up for emergency housing voucher program.
• Maintain client records and documentation in a timely and confidential manner.
• Travel to see clients in the community and between work sites as needed.
• Collaborate with landlords, housing programs, and FBH partners to support housing stability.
