Job summary

LewisGale Hospital Montgomery in Blacksburg, VA is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the Abdominal Vascular and Compression Unit. The CNC delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinates unit functions in partnership with the management team.

You will coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, assist with admissions and discharges, support improved outcomes, and provide coaching and training to staff. Office duties include staff scheduling as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license required
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of start date
• Associates or Bachelors degree or RN diploma preferred
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, evaluate, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care with a multidisciplinary team
• Assist with admission and discharge processes
• Collaborate with leadership and subject matter experts to improve patient outcomes and service
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to staff to improve performance and engagement
• Assist with staff scheduling
