Job summary

LewisGale Regional Health System in Virginia is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to deliver high‑quality, patient‑centered care and coordinate all unit functions. The CNC partners with the management team to monitor nursing care and serves as a resource for staff.

You will coordinate, evaluate, and deliver care with a multidisciplinary team; assist with admissions and discharges; provide coaching and training to improve performance; and help with staff scheduling.

Qualifications

• RN (Registered Nurse) with active license
• BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
• 2 years of RN experience is required

Responsibilities

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.
