Job summary

Lafayette Manor Nursing Home in Uniontown, PA is seeking an experienced RN to serve as the CNA Training Program Instructor. You will educate, mentor, and prepare future CNAs for success in long‑term care while ensuring compliance with state and federal training standards.

This full‑time role offers a 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift. You will lead classroom instruction, supervise clinical training, and maintain training records to support excellent resident care and staff development.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum two years of nursing experience.
• At least one year in long-term care.
• State-approved Train-the-Trainer certification or ability to obtain.
• Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom instruction and hands-on clinical training for CNA students.
• Prepare students for state certification and competency examinations.
• Monitor student progress and provide guidance and remediation as needed.
• Maintain attendance, skills checklists, grades, and training records.
• Ensure program compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate testing registration and regulatory reporting.
• Update curriculum and training materials to support student success.
• Collaborate with facility leadership to promote resident care and staff development.
