Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse to join an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe patient care in a Georgia clinical setting. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient advocacy, and collaboration with nurses, physicians, and care managers.

The position requires GA RN licensure, BLS certification, and a strong foundation in direct patient care. ACLS/PALS may be needed in certain units, and the department supports ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• All certifications required upon hire; GA RN licensure; BLS required.
• ACLS/PALS may be required in some practice areas.
• Experience with direct patient care; strong communication and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) with evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient-centered, culturally sensitive care in collaboration with the care team.
• Document care, coordinate with physicians, nurses, and support staff; participate in rounds and handoffs.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and adhere to safety and policy standards.
