Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care tailored to age, gender, disease, and cultural diversity.
• Partner with patients and families via bedside shift reports, rounds, and patient-centered teaching.
• Maintain practice in line with current clinical standards.
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care.
• Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration while supporting fiscal responsibility and staffing retention.
• Participate in performance improvement, research utilization, and shared governance.
• Serve as a preceptor or mentor to staff and students.
• Promote evidence-based practice and address practice questions with appropriate resources.
• Comply with organizational policies, safety goals, and standards.
