Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family, is seeking an experienced research nurse to manage clinical trial projects. You will supervise research nurses and assistants, coordinate activities, recruit participants, and ensure protocol compliance in a busy, multi-site environment in Massachusetts.

The role requires MA RN licensure and 3+ years of relevant experience, with a focus on quality, patient safety, and regulatory adherence. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current MA RN license and 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Management of clinical trials; supervise research staff and explain protocol criteria clearly.
• Serve as liaison with physician investigators and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate study activities across departments and resolve issues as needed.
• Evaluate SOPs and contribute to departmental SOPs when appropriate.
• Engage sponsor representatives to assess study feasibility and site suitability.
• Assist with protocol development or evaluation meetings as required.
• Ensure proper routing of inquiries from patients, sponsors, and staff.
• Perform study-related procedures including recruitment, consent, assessments, and data collection.
• Monitor study performance and address gaps; attend meetings with sponsor/investigator.
• Communicate with monitors, FDA and regulators; document to meet standards.
