Job summary

Reliant Medical Group, part of the Optum family, seeks a Research Nurse to oversee clinical trials from inquiry to follow-up. You will lead nurses and staff, ensure protocol adherence, and maintain data integrity in a patient-centered environment.

You will recruit participants, obtain informed consent, perform physical assessments, and coordinate with sponsors and regulatory bodies to meet study requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Licensed RN in Massachusetts with 3+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical trials; supervise staff and explain protocol criteria.
• Act as liaison with physician investigator, sponsor, and regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate study activities with other departments; identify and resolve issues.
• Review and maintain SOPs; improve procedures as needed.
• Meet with sponsor representatives to evaluate feasibility and site suitability.
• Recruit patients, obtain informed consent, perform assessments, and collect data.
• Interface with regulatory monitors (FDA, IRB) and document activities to meet standards.
• Address billing issues related to sponsor payments and patient charges.
