Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinical Supervisor for the weekend shift. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating operations and patient care in designated areas, and act as a clinical resource for staff and patients.

The role includes applying nursing expertise, performing as a staff nurse when needed, and stepping into managerial duties delegated by a manager, all within Mercy values.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following degrees.
• Must maintain current RN license in Missouri or possess compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.
• 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
