Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Clinical Supervisor for the weekend shift at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO. The role includes planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating operations and patient care for designated areas.

You will serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients, perform staff nurse duties as needed, and take on managerial responsibilities delegated by supervisors, aligning with Mercy’s mission and service standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact licensure.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Function as a staff nurse in the department as needed and perform duties in line with Mercy standards.
• Assume managerial duties delegated by a manager and contribute to change management initiatives.
