Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Nurse Manager to lead nursing units in Wisconsin, coordinating daily operations, staff supervision, and adherence to standards of practice. You will maintain accountability during off-shifts and assist the Nurse Manager in maintaining quality care.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, a Wisconsin RN license, and at least 2 years of clinical practice with leadership experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Current Wisconsin RN license or multi-state license via NLC.
• 2+ years of clinical practice with leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate patient care and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Support and collaborate with the Nurse Manager.
• Oversee day-to-day operational activities of assigned unit(s).
• Apply leadership and human relations principles in supervision of patient care and personnel.
• Maintain primary accountability during off-shifts.
• Assist Nurse Manager with maintaining unit-specific standards of practice.
• Prepare nursing care plans, outcome management tools, and statistical reports.
• Implement effective nursing care and develop solutions to patient care problems.
