Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO seeks an RN Clinical Supervisor – Inpatient Med/Surg East to lead staffing, coordinate patient flow and ensure safe, high‑quality care across units. The role combines frontline nursing with managerial responsibilities to optimize operations.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with physicians and administration, and drive performance improvement while upholding Mercy Service Standards. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour per week position with strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the state of Missouri.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of direct patient care experience.
• Active BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating operations and patient care for designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Act as a staff nurse in the department as needed and assume delegated managerial duties.
• Promote Mercy Service Standards and drive process improvement in collaboration with the team.
