Job summary

Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL is seeking an RN Clinical Supervisor to lead the hospice clinical team and ensure exceptional patient care. You will oversee staff, coordinate services, and guide clinical decisions in a compassionate, interdisciplinary environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday 8am–5pm. The ideal candidate has RN licensure in Florida, hospice or home care experience, and strong leadership and communication skills to drive quality care and documentation.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current, unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of operation.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must be a licensed driver with insured automobile and good working order.
• Experience in hospice or home care setting preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team setting.
• Excellent observation, nursing judgment, and communication skills (verbal & written).
• Understanding of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care considerations.
• Knowledge of pain and symptom management principles.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Review new patient referrals and determine care needs; assign appropriate hospice staff.
• Support and guide clinical staff through home visits, case reviews, and real-time consultations.
• Help develop patient care plans, set treatment goals, and prioritize care.
• Lead and participate in team case conferences to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
• Conduct regular chart audits and provide feedback for quality improvement.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of clinical team members.
• Support staff development and continuing education programs.
• Assist in policy development and uphold professional care standards.
• Engage in community outreach and promote the hospice's mission and services.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and organizational goals.

Qualifications
