Responsibilities

• The Clinical Nursing Supervisor provides administrative oversight for the department, collaborates with the Director/Manager, and may assume administrative scope in their absence. Develops and implements departmental plans and coordinates orientation and training.
• Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration in writing and verbally; ensures quality of staff and functions during shifts. Oversees operations, directs, supervises and evaluates personnel, and ensures efficient department function. Performs direct patient care as needed within scope of practice.
