The role involves providing direct patient care, reviewing staffing based on acuity, and acting as a role model for professional nursing practice. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing, have 2 years of clinical experience and progressive leadership, and be licensed as an RN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Master's Degree in Nursing required
• Two (2) years clinical experience required
• Progressive leadership experience required
• Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
• AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
• Involved in providing clinical patient care.
• Review appropriate staffing based on patient acuity and patient needs and assess nursing service needs relative to the needs of patients within the unit and recommend corrective actions when appropriate.
