Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a seasoned policy leader to manage intake, scoping, and development of clinical policies across the health system. You will ensure alignment with CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA, and HIPAA standards while driving evidence-based practice and patient safety initiatives.

The role requires RN licensure in New Mexico, a nursing degree (masters preferred), and 5+ years of healthcare policy experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Mexico
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum 5 years healthcare experience
• Evidence of participation/leadership in policy or protocol development and quality improvement

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical policy development and governance across the health system
• Ensure CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA, HIPAA compliance and regulatory readiness
• Coordinate with leaders on policy implementation and staff training
• Review and improve policies to prevent duplication and ensure evidence-informed practice
• Oversee policy review cycles and document control, retention and archiving
• Support committees and work groups as appointed
