Job summary

Whole Family Health Center Inc in Vero Beach, FL is seeking an RN Clinical Operations Specialist to coordinate nursing workflows, bolster clinical efficiency, and standardize patient care across locations.

You will oversee provider support, medication management, patient communications, and training for staff, while collaborating with clinicians and leadership to improve outcomes. Travel between clinics is required.

Qualifications

• Current Florida Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Three years of nursing experience, preferably in ambulatory or primary care.
• Experience with electronic health records; Athena experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively with providers and interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate centralized nursing workflows across providers and staff.
• Manage medication refill requests per protocols and provider preferences.
• Oversee call center triage workflows and patient routing.
• Review lab results, imaging notes, hospital records, and other clinical documents for providers.
• Develop and maintain standardized nursing workflows, protocols, and clinical support processes.
• Lead clinical projects to improve patient care, provider efficiency, and operational performance.
• Support Chronic Care Management, Remote Patient Monitoring, Transitional Care Management, and other population health programs.
• Monitor clinical work queues and identify opportunities to improve turnaround times and workflow efficiency.
• Assist with EHR optimization and clinical documentation workflows.
• Provide training on nursing workflows and best practices.
• Collaborate with providers and leadership to improve clinical processes and patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical performance metrics.
• Travel between clinic locations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
