Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Clinical Supervisor RN for Medical-Surgical Services to oversee safe, high-quality care and efficient resource use during nights and evenings. You will lead staffing, collaborate with physicians, and mentor teams to deliver compassionate care while ensuring adherence to policy and regulatory standards.

Requirements include a nursing program graduate, current RN license, and 3–5 years of hospital experience; AHA provider card or equivalent training within probation; BSN

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license with state Board of Nursing.
• 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation period (TNCC, ACLS and ENPC or PALS).
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assures delivery of safe, high-quality and cost-effective care.
• Ensures units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care.
• Collaborates with physicians and administrative personnel to improve processes across the continuum.
• Involved in patient flow and bed management in collaboration with Staffing Office.
• Demonstrates professional standards and servant leadership to inspire others.
