Job Summary:

Join the mission of Improving Lives as a Clinical Nurse Educator - Float Pool at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital. As part of Jefferson Health, the largest health system in the Philadelphia region, you will provide vital education and training across multiple departments, ensuring that nursing staff maintain the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing staff and students.
2. Perform patient care procedures within the RN scope of practice.
3. Apply nursing theory, education, and research to coordinate and implement nursing education programs.
4. Collaborate with Education Specialists to develop, coordinate, and evaluate programs that maintain nursing competencies.
5. Participate in the development and implementation of clinical pathways and care coordination strategies.
6. Provide hands-on education and training to float pool nurses across various units.
7. Ensure compliance with hospital policies, evidence-based practices, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

1. Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
2. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree (MSN) preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience.
4. Strong experience in float pool nursing, with the ability to adapt and educate across multiple specialties.
