Job summary

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit functions. You will partner with the management team to monitor nursing care, support staff, and enhance the patient experience.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assist with admissions/discharges, and contribute to outcomes improvements while coaching staff and helping manage scheduling.

Qualifications

• ACLS required within 90 days of start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• PALS required within 30 days of start date.
• TNCC/ATCN or trauma care certs within 6 months of start date.
• 1 year of nursing experience.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) delivers high quality, patient-centered care and coordinates all functions in the unit. In partnership with the management team, the CNC monitors and evaluates nursing care in accordance with established policies. The CNC serves as a resource for staff and supports an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with admission and discharge processes.
• Partner with subject matter experts and leadership team to support improved outcomes and service.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
• Assist with staff scheduling.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Trauma Nursing Core Course must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date(RN) Registered Nurse
• Advanced Trauma Care for Nurse, or Trauma Care After Resuscitation, or Bachelor’s Degree, or Doctorate Degree must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• No Travel Required
• 1 year of experience required
