Job summary

The Women9s Hospital of Texas, part of HCA Houston Healthcare, is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead nursing care and coordination during shifts. You will collaborate with management to evaluate care, serve as a resource for staff, and uphold our patient-centered mission.

Required BSN, Texas RN license (or Multi-State Compact with 90-day Texas license), current BLS/PALS/ACLS, and 1 year in acute care Day Surgery/Pre-Op.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date).
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications are required.
• 1 year of experience is an acute care Day Surgery/Pre-Op setting is required.

Responsibilities

• You will ensure and deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift.
• You will collaborate with other members of the management team, the CNC directs, and monitors to evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures.
• You will serve as a resource person for staff.
• You will model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
