Job summary

The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN) for the Operating Room to maintain high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care. This role emphasizes collaboration with managers and hospital councils to influence patient outcomes and nursing initiatives.

Requirements include a BSN, TX RN license (or Compact with 90-day TX licensure), and active BLS. CNOR is preferred; 1 year OR experience, with charge experience preferred, is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Current TX RN license or Multi-State Compact with Texas licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• CNOR is preferred.
• One year of experience in an Operating Room setting required; charge experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the Operating Room during the designated shift.
• Monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serve as a resource for staff, and support the organization’s vision/mission/values to enhance patient experience and outcomes.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (RN) Operating Room for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

• You will deliver high quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the Operating Room during the designated shift.
• You will monitor and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures, serve as a resource person for staff, and model a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcome that contributes to overall departmental performance.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required.
• CNOR is preferred
• 1 year of experience in an Operating Room setting is required. Charge experience is preferred.
