Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center is seeking a Clinical Manager to oversee day-to-day operations of the operating room and implement process improvements for efficiency and patient experience.

The Clinical Manager will report to the ASC Administrator, collaborate on fiscal accountability, policy development, and staff performance. Responsibilities include credentialing, safety, risk management, and enhancing patient care outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.
• Current RN license in the state.
• Minimum of two to three years proven experience as a clinical manager or other managerial position.
• Experience in clinical supervision and program management.

Responsibilities

• Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards for excellent service and growth.
• Budgeting and resourcing responsibilities.
• Plan and oversee patient care and administrative operations and programs.
• Recruit employees to ensure department is staffed with qualified personnel.

Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Clinical Manager to join our team. Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

Job Summary:

The Clinical Manager responsible for the day-to-day operations of the operating room and implements process initiatives to improve the efficiency of services and patient experience. The Clinical Manager of Ambulatory Surgery Center will report to the ASC Administrator and will collaborate with them to promote fiscal accountability, develop and revise policies, and evaluate staff performance. The Outpatient Surgical Center Clinical Manager will oversee staff credentialing, preventative safety measures, risk management duties, and use their clinical and leadership experience to enhance patient care and improve clinical outcomes.

• Excellent knowledge of standards (e.g. ISO) and regulations for the clinical field


• Proficient in MS Office and computer systems (e.g. patient management software)


• Excellent communication and people skills


• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills


• Aptitude in resolving issues and conflicts

Salary Range: $53.52 to $80.27, Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
