Job summary

This role requires an active Texas RN license, BSN preferred, and current BLS with unit-specific ARC/AHA certifications. Weekend/evening shifts and on-call status may be required as part of patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in Texas or compact state
• BSN preferred; ADN/ Diploma accepted with licensure
• Current BLS and unit-specific ARC/AHA certifications
• Must meet ongoing certification requirements such as ACLS, PALS, ENPC, or TNCC as applicable

Responsibilities

• Manage patients admitted for medical or surgical conditions.
• Provide professional nursing leadership and care per facility policies.
• Assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Coordinate with healthcare team and departments; ensure patient safety.
• May work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and on-call as required.
