Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Georgia is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our care team. You will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, and support unit-based quality improvement efforts on a 12-hour Evening to Morning shift.

The ideal candidate holds Georgia RN licensure, an ADN or Diploma, and at least 1 year of RN experience; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Associate's Degree, ADN or Diploma required.
• At least 1 year of RN experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Basic computer skills for unit systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and safe patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care for assigned patients on a shift to promote outcomes.
• Lead and participate in unit councils and nursing quality teams.
• Mentor new graduates and participate in shared governance.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds to ensure appropriate care transitions.
