Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a capable Registered Nurse to join the team in a 12-hour Evening - Morning shift. The role focuses on direct, safe patient care with involvement in governance and quality initiatives within a complex patient population.

New graduates or those with less than one year of experience are referred to the RN Residency Program while experienced RNs contribute to a culture of safety and high-quality care across the unit.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of RN experience; new graduates may join the RN Residency Program.
• Clinical leadership and governance participation encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and manage discharge planning.
• Document care in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in quality initiatives and patient experience improvements.
• Support unit leadership roles and mentor staff when needed.
