Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Clinical RN Lead to oversee daily clinical operations in our Bloomfield clinic. You will provide direct patient care, coordinate scheduling, and lead the clinical team in delivering high-quality care.

This role partners with Regional Nurse Managers, supports implementation of evidence-based care, and ensures compliance with coding, OSHA, and CLIA regulations. Traditional clinic hours with potential Saturday half-day rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as an RN in the State of Connecticut.
• 1+ years of nursing experience in a hospital or medical office.
• Experience with charge/clinical lead responsibilities.
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients; answer and document patient phone calls; take complete messages and route to providers as needed using the EHR.
• Educate patients regarding their illness or injury and provide instruction regarding self-management of their condition.
• Document all patient interactions and other clinical activities accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic health record.
• Create and manage the clinical team's schedule including creating assignments for rotating practice duties.
• Lead the team to function in a patient centered environment.
• Assist care team to assure smooth office operation and delivery of excellent service through teamwork.
