Job summary

ProHealth Physicians, part of the Optum and UnitedHealth Group family, seeks a Clinical RN Lead to oversee daily clinical operations in a high-volume practice on North Main St, Southington, CT. You will supervise scheduling, patient care, and provider support, collaborating with Regional Nurse Managers to ensure quality care.

The role requires CT RN licensure, hospital/clinic experience, and leadership in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Active unrestricted RN licensure in CT.
• 1+ years of nursing experience in a hospital or medical office.
• Experience with charge/clinical lead responsibilities.
• Intermediate level of computer proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients; answer and document patient phone calls; take complete messages and route to providers as needed using the EHR.
• Conduct outreach to patients to communicate test results and schedule follow-ups.
• Educate patients regarding their illness and self-management.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the EHR.
• Carry out standing orders and monitor referrals.
