Job summary

Tenet's Carondelet Marana Hospital in the Tucson area seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care following established policies and protocols. You will coordinate care across disciplines, implement orders, assess patients, and contribute to discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions.

The role requires an active Arizona RN license (compact state license acceptable), BLS; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and active RN licensure.
• 1 year RN experience required.
• Current Arizona Nursing License or compact state license with ability to obtain AZ license in 30 days.
• BLS certification; ACLS/PALS preferred by department.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans; communicate patient status.
• Coordinate care across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Execute physician and nursing orders and document care.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team and the patient/family.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments (initial, re-, focused) and identify problems.
• Develop and adjust care plans with measurable short- and long-term goals.
• Establish daily goals with patient/family and transition planning.
• Ensure safe administration of medications and ordered treatments.
