Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX seeks a Clinical Training and Informatics professional to develop, train, and evaluate ambulatory clinical training materials and ensure competency with electronic documentation in the medical record.

The role focuses on updating training content with upgrades, collaborating with clinical providers on EPIC workflows, and supporting quality and safety initiatives across the EMR team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• RN license required
• Experience with Epic clinical documentation and Epic modules

Responsibilities

• Primary facilitator of the process for development and optimization of order sets.
• Responsible for EPIC optimization projects for quality & safety involving work flow in different clinical areas.
• Works closely with care providers on new work flows and helps develop education materials and Just-In-Time explanations in the EHR.
• Attend EMR governance meetings and participate in working groups related to care quality and patient safety.
