Job summary

Ohio State University seeks a Clinical Finance Case Management Consultant – RN to oversee billing for oncology clinical trials. You will review study protocols to classify procedures as Routine Care or Research-related, guiding proper coding and billing for trial participants.

You will support Revenue Cycle processes, serve as a clinical SME within CRFC, and collaborate with PIs, CTO, James Nursing, and related departments to ensure compliant, timely financial operations.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure and a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with clinical trials and Medicare billing regulations is preferred.
• Roles involves compliance with clinical trial billing and post-award processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Coverage Analyses to classify procedures as Routine Care or Research-related.
• Guide accurate billing and coding practices for oncology clinical trials.
• Provide guidance to Revenue Cycle Specialists and Analysts and collaborate with PIs, CTO, and departments.
• Maintain independent decision-making informed by clinical protocols and regulations.
