Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a RCM Research Specialist to review clinical trial protocols, ensure payer policy alignment, and support accurate billing through non-billable grids and protocol documentation.

Responsibilities include coordinating with IT for drug setup, generating enrollment and billing reports, and auditing billing for adherence to guidelines. A minimum of five years in healthcare or managed care is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of five years of experience in healthcare or managed care.
• Experience with clinical trials is preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical trial protocols for compliance with practice requirements and payer policies.
• Develop and maintain a non-billable grid for each protocol to support billing reporting.
• Create drug inventory codes and coordinate with Billing for claim edits.
• Coordinate with IT to set up non-FDA-approved drugs in EMR, Drug Inventory, and Practice Management Systems.
• Prepare monthly clinical trial reports and other required reports.
• Audit billing to ensure adherence to clinical trial billing guidelines.
