Job summary

The Clinical Financial Case Management Consultant - RN at Ohio State University reports to the Director of CRFC and leads the billing compliance for oncology clinical trials. You will review study protocols to distinguish Routine Care from Research procedures and ensure accurate coding and revenue capture.

You will advise Revenue Cycle specialists, partner with PIs, CTO, and James Nursing, and require independent judgment and deep knowledge of federal regulations and trial operations to support

Qualifications

• RN licensure required and ongoing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Masters degree preferred; clinical trials experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Medicare billing regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Coverage Analyses to classify procedures as Routine Care or Research.
• Guide billing and coding practices; advise Revenue Cycle Specialists.
• Collaborate with Principal Investigators (PIs), CTO, James Nursing, and research units.
• Work independently with high-level decision making and regulatory knowledge.
