Job summary

Riverside Community Hospital seeks a Wound Ostomy Clinical Nurse Educator to develop and monitor the hospital's Wound/Ostomy Program. You will establish standards of care and train staff to ensure clinical expertise across the team.

Qualifications

• Active California RN license is required.
• Current BCLS certification.
• WOCN or wound certification required.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN/MSN preferred.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Summary:

• The Wound/Ostomy Clinical Nurse Educator is responsible for development, coordination, and monitoring of the hospital’s Wound/Ostomy Program.
• The Wound/Ostomy Nurse establishes standards of care and clinical competencies to meet patient needs, and staff training to ensure clinical expertise
• The Wound/Ostomy Nurse works collaboratively with the medical staff, and provides education to patients, caregivers, and staff on wound, ostomy, and continence care

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license
• Current BCLS certification
• WOCN or Wound Certification
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
• BSN, MSN Preferred
• Minimum of 1-2 years acute care hospital experience in area of specialty
