Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Clinical Educator role in a Primary Care setting. This office-based RN position focuses on patient education, follow-up, and care coordination within our outpatient clinic.

You’ll triage symptoms, review results, answer medication questions, and support routine visits while staying clinically active. The role requires RN licensure, 2+ years of direct patient care, and BSN with Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN required.
• Current state RN license and BLS certification (or within 30 days of start date).
• Minimum of two years direct clinical patient care experience; teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of educational development and design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement clinical and non-clinical education across clinical departments.
• Develop, coordinate, and implement continuing education and in-service education for all clinical departments.
• Educate patients through calls, education, and follow-up; triage symptoms and answer medication questions.
