Job summary

MaineHealth Primary Care in Scarborough, Maine, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy outpatient practice as a triage nurse handling calls and clinical assessments with RN judgment.

This is a full-time role with a $10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible RNs with up to 2 years of experience and $20,000 for more experienced RNs, plus comprehensive benefits and potential RN I advancement after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• License/Certifications: Current state RN license; BLS certification required or within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: One year RN experience required; automatic advancement from RN I after onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients over the phone using established policies and protocols.
• Provide high-quality ambulatory care support and assist physicians/APPs.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs.
• Maintain RN clinical judgment in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

For a limited time MaineHealth is offering a $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with up to 2 years of RN experience and $20,000 for Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of RN work experience!

MaineHealth Primary Care in Scarborough, Maine, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy outpatient practice and become part of our dedicated care team.This is a triage position where you'll use your active listening skills to apply policies and protocols when assessing and treating patients over the phone. This position is Full Time within theTuesday-Friday from 8:00-6:00pmschedule. Summary:
The MH Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care role provides high quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, demonstrates how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level included automatic advancement after 1 year as a RN I - must be in good standing and meets RN I requirements.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

The pay range for this position is $34.35to $46.46 per hour.
