Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking a Clinical Development & Infection Prevention Coordinator (RN) for Hale Kupuna in Koloa, HI. This full-time role leads education, infection prevention, and staff development initiatives across the facility.

Responsibilities include managing infection control, coordinating in-service activities, and directing orientation programs for nursing staff, with emphasis on compliance and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Registered Nurse with the State of Hawaii Board of Nursing.
• Two years of experience in clinical staff development in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to learn the use of quality improvement methods and materials required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the facility infection control program and ensures regulatory compliance related to education, quality improvement and infection control.
• Coordinates in-service activities with all departments, contractors and volunteers per policies and procedures.
• Develops and directs orientation program for nursing personnel and other departments as assigned.
• Maintains attendance records, reports and reference materials for educational programs.
