Job summary

Ohana Pacific Health is seeking a Clinical Development & Infection Prevention Coordinator (RN) for their Hale Kupuna facility in Koloa, HI. This full-time role focuses on planning, developing, and coordinating education programs for facility teams, contractors, volunteers, and staff.

The position oversees the infection control program, ensures regulatory compliance, and directs orientation and training activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Registered Nurse with the State of Hawaii Board of Nursing.
• Two years of experience in clinical staff development in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to learn the use of quality improvement methods and materials.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the facility infection control program. Ensures facility compliance with all regulatory requirements related to education, quality improvement and infection control.
• Coordinates in-service activities and programs with all departments, contractors, volunteers in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Develops and directs orientation program for nursing personnel in accordance with nursing department policies and procedures and other departments as assigned.
• Develops and maintains attendance records, reports, and reference materials pertinent to all educational programs.
